Trip to the Wildlife Museum

Today we went to the Wildlife Museum! :) I didn't even know this place was here, why didn't anyone tell me?! ;)  The kids and I went with my friend Sarah and her son, Brydan. We kind of thought it would be lame, but we had free admission to go, so why not! haha It was actually really cool, though! The kids LOVED it! Bransyn kept pointing to the animals saying, "Look! It's a ______!" I was shocked to see how many animals he actually knew! I'm excited to take B-man back, cause he sure did love it! :)

Park day in January?!

Who would of thought that we could go to the park in the middle of JANUARY, without coats, gloves, and  hats?! Well, we definitely did that today! We wore our normal clothes, and didn't so much as shiver at the park the entire time! It's so crazy, we haven't had much of a winter this year! But hey, I'm not one to complain about that! I HATE the cold, along with anything above 100 degrees. It was nice to get out of the house, and get the kids to the park! They loved it :)  Hopefully we will be having more days like this!

Thanksgiving 2011.

We spend Thanksgiving with Ryan's family this year. His parents, his sister & her husband, his aunts and cousins. It was a full house, for sure! It was pretty strange not even seeing my family on Thanksgiving, since I have spent it with them EVERY single year, but it was still a fabulous day & we had an absolutely delish dinner!    We had the usual; turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, rolls, salad, sweet potatoes, ect. Ah, sooo yummy! I'm pretty sure I've said it before, but I'll say it again... I wish Thanksgiving came once a MONTH, instead of once a year! Not only for the food, but for the meaning, too. We always need to remember all the things we are thankful for. I, for one, have sooo much to be thankful for:
My children. I would be nowhere without them. They are my life. My reason for living. The absolute best things that have ever happened to me.
Ryan. We have been through a whoooole ton in the past 4.5 years, but I can't think of a better person to spend my life with. I love him with everything in me, and I will also add him to that list of the best things that have ever happened to me.
My family. I would be lost with out them all.
Ryan's family. I am soo very grateful for them, and everything they have done for us.
Ryan's job. It may be taking a while to make us millionaires ;)  but I am so very happy for him, and that he is able to live out his dream of owning a shop, and that he actually has a job in this economy.
A home to live in. This is also thanks to Ryan's parents. As much as I want to be able to have our family under our own roof, I'm very thankful for Ryan's parents for opening their home up to us, at a time that we aren't able to have our own place.
Food in our tummies. Yep, that's pretty dang important.
Clothes to wear. Shoes on our feet.
Reliable vehicles to drive.
Being able to pay all of our bills on our own.
The fact that we are all healthy, in every way.
The fact that we get to be together as a family every single day, and we don't have to worry about ever being apart.
The bad/hard days, so that I know how to appreciate the good/easy days.
And most importantly.... God. For BLESSING me with every single thing I listed. I would have nothing without Him.

I do have a lot more that I am thankful for. It really would be easier to just say I am thankful for EVERY single part of my life, but I feel the need to list the ones I am most thankful for.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and you all remembered what you are thankful for ♥

Taislee's very first Thanksgiving!!! :)  She got to eat some green beans!

Definitely what I am most thankful for. Definitely.

Staheli Farm: Round 1

We had our first trip of the year to Staheli Farm last night! I only say 'first' trip, because we're going to go again next weekend, because Ryan wasn't able to go with us this time. And we ALWAYS have to make a family trip to the farm... it's a tradition ;)  This time, we went with my family (grandma, aunts & cousins) It was awesome getting to go with everyone. Brans had SO much fun with all of the kids! We went through the cornmaze, and had to take a 'tractor' ride to get there. Brans loved it, of course, but Missy T wasn't having it. She just wanted to snuggle, and go to sleep! After the corn maze, all of the kids got to do all the fun activities. I was feeding Tais for the first half, so I didn't really get to see much of what was going on. But once she was fed, and asleep, I took Brans over to the petting zoo! He wasn't as fast to go up and pet all the animals as he was last year. He was a little bit scared at first, I think! haha. He kept telling baby goats "here little one!" and patting his legs. SO CUTE! haha. He also got to jump on the gigantic trampoline, which  was really this HUUUGE bubble thingy stuck to the ground, haha. I don't remember what they called it, and I don't really know how to explain what it was! :(  But anyways, very much a successful trip to the farm! Can't wait to go back this weekend, and watch my little guy have so much fun again! :)
