Toots is TEN months!

Awe, only TWO months left of her first year! This is just too crazy :(

• girlfriend is quite the dancer. she loooves to dance! if you tell her to dance, she'll start shaking back and forth, or bouncing up and down. or if you dance in front of her, she'll join you :)

• she has taken a serious liking in her grandpa Tabet the past couple of weeks. I mean, she's always loved him, duh, but lately she is OBSESSED with him. 3/4 of the time, she'll choose him over me. which is extremely strange for my child to choose someone over me, if you know her, you know what I'm talking about!

• she says: grandpa (which sounds like 'bampa' when she says it, but we know that's what she's saying because she repeats it when we tell her too. plus, it actually sounds like that is what she's saying when SHE says it), bubba (that's what she calls bransyn), bubye, up, dada, and sometimes (and that means like once a month) she'll say mama still. 

• she loves playing in her car seat. she'll climb in there, sometimes lay down in it, sometimes rock back and forth in it, depends on her mood, but it sure is a fun jungle gym for her ;)  haha

• we went to Jumpin' Jacks a few weeks ago, and babe LOVED it. she got to go down the bouncy slides (being held, of course... she's not THAT big yet ;)  and she got to crawl around the big bouncers and she had a smile on her face the whole time! 

• she's obsessed with my cell phone. if she sees me with it, she'll come over to me and grab it from my hands. one day when she was fussing in the car, I pulled up one of bransyn's activities on my phone, it's an app where every time you touch the screen, stars pop out and make a sound. well she has been pretty obsessed with that, & it keeps her pretty dang content ;)

• she is constantly pulling her socks off! I don't know why, but once they go on, she's got her feet up and she's pulling the socks off. she has also started sucking on her toes once the socks are off. it's pretty cute if you ask me ;)  

• she waves now :)  she's still trying to get the hang of it, but she will do it! and at the right time, too! if we say 'bubye' to her, she'll start saying it, and waving her little hand. one day when I was putting her in her carseat, she said 'bubye' and started waving all on her own! we hadn't said it to her at all! such a smart baby :)

• her 6th tooth popped through on February 25th! it's the one right next to her very middle tooth on the top, on the right side. it's been trying to work it's way through for quite a while now, and it finally made its debut!

• she gives kisses! not ALL the time, but she randomly will when you ask for them! and she gets in 'kissy moods' where she will just kiss you over and over! :) they're the mouth wide open, get drool all over your face kisses, but they sure are the best! :)

• she eats like a teenage boy. homegirl will seriously eat anything, and she eats a LOT of it! she eats probably TRIPLE what Bransyn eats, I wouldn't even hesitate to say she eats as much as I do at one sitting. PLUS, she still nurses every four hours! she has a few things that she hasn't really cared for, but for the most part, she loves pretty much everything. a few of her favorites right now are blueberry waffles, avocados, and strawberries! 

• if you give her a comb/brush, she will try to brush her hair!

• she loves looking at herself in the mirror. she knows she's cute ;)

• she'll randomly throw fits when I put her in her carseat. I don't know why, she's always loved her carseat. but she'll arch her back, and start screaming. i'll tell her over & over, 'lets go bubye!' and she'll stop, but I dunno why she freaks when she first goes in  there, ha.

• she throws fits. she'll arch her back, and lay her head back and cry/scream. ohhh, the joys of transitioning from baby to toddler ;)

• she still isn't walking (which I am MORE THAN FINE WITH! one 9 month walker was plenty for me!) but she is starting to stand a bit more now without holding onto something. 

• she loves climbing onto bransyn's bed! she gets up there all by herself! she has also figured out a way to get onto OUR bed all by herself, which is about twice as high as B's bed is. there is a box sitting right next to our bed, and she'll go climb onto that, then climb onto our bed from that. she also knows how to safely get down from both beds/couches/anything too high to crawl off of. in her last update I'm pretty sure I mentioned that she was doing this, but then she kind of stopped. she'll turn her little body around, and scoot down booty first off of the high spot, and gets on the floor safely :)

• she likes to steal food out of people's mouths :)

• she's still as obsessed with paper as ever. any kind of paper she can get her hands on, she loves. and FREAKS if you take it from her. I dunno what this girls deal with paper is! haha

• her sleeping has been a bit better, lately. she has only been waking up one time the past few nights. and she has been going to sleep easier at night, and for naps. CROSSING my fingers she continues with this, because it's pretty nice only having to get up one at night ;)  Oh, and usually her wake up is between 3-6, so she does sleep pretty long!

• she still goes to bed at 8pm every night, but she has been waking up earlier than she used to lately. she used to sleep until 8-9am, but now she wakes up between 7-7:30 am. kind of sucks cause I am SO not a morning person, but it's worth it to have her cute face to get up with :)

• if she is on the floor, and you walk by her, she will put her hands up like she wants to be picked up. it is just TOO cute to pass right by her, you just gotta pick her up! ;)

• she is obsessed with climbing over things. she'll crawl through the kitchen chairs or bar stools, to get to the other end of the kitchen, instead of going around them. it's like she's going through her own little obstacle course ;) 

• she loves climbing on things, period. she is constantly climbing on the treadmill, on top of boxes, anything she can get on top of, she does!

• she loves going into the exercise room. i don't know why, but she is ALWAYS sneaking in there, and trying to play on all the equipment! 

• she still loves baths! and she does sooo good! when I wash the shampoo out of her hair, it doesn't even phase her if the water gets in her eyes! I have also been giving her baths in the kitchen sink again (cause it is SO SO SO much easier!) and she LOVES it! she loves playing with the faucet, and turning the water on and off. 

• she has never really had an interest in TV, like at all. which I think is GREAT, because Brans is obsessed with TV, and it drives me nuts. but one day he was watching Yo Gabba Gabba, and she was SO intrigued by it! she crawled over to the TV, stood up and just stared at it! she hasn't really watched it since, cause she doesn't pay enough attention to the TV, but it was just so funny how it got her complete attention!

• she loves being outside and going on walks. I'm so glad it's getting closer to spring so we can start spending more time outside soon!

• she is still in love with her brother. he is seriously the best thing in the world to her. I love it so much.

Nine months in, nine months out!

Our little Tais-girl has officially been here for the same amount of time she was in my belly! I don't know about you, but to me these past 9 months flew by MUCH faster than the first. . . ! I can't believe I have a NINE month old! T-minus 3 months until I cry my eyes out more than I ever have before! :(

Here's what our little busy body 3/4 of a year old girl has been up to:

• she is an EATER. she eats sooo much, and that makes me entirely too happy. she eats more than bransyn does (although, that's really not hard to do, since the kid eats like a bird!). you wouldn't know it just by looking at her little 15lb 9oz body, but girlfriend can put it away. she still nurses every 2-4 hours through out the day (although, I'm pretty sure it's more just out of habit/for comfort than food, half the time) PLUS, 2-3 meals a day, AND multiple snacks. for breakfast the other day, she had TWO blueberry muffins, a handful of cheerios, and a handful of raisins. that's just one example, she's always stuffin' herself. I reallly hope she continues to eat so well, because I don't think I could handle TWO super picky kids!

• she has like most everything she has tried so far, except potatoes. that makes me super sad, cause this mama could LIVE off of potatoes, but I guess she's just taking after her daddy & brother :(

• she has been climbing off of our bed, booty first first! the first time she did it, I didn't know if she actually meant to, or if that's just how she ended up, so I put her back up to see if she would do it again. she did it three more times in a row! she doesn't do it all the time, though. I still have to watch her very closely when she's on our bed, just to be safe. but i'm glad she's learning these things, so that she can be safe!

• she is no longer in her 'reclining' bath seat, she's in one that sits her up all the way, and she loves it!

• she's been saying mama for quite a while, but now she has started saying dada, baby (sounds like 'behbeh' and she's said bye bye a few times! i'm trying to teach her to say bubba (for brother), but she's not quite ready for that one yet, apparently! her favorite word right now, definitely has to be dada. she is CONSTANTLY saying it! 

• bransyn has this barn toy that has a bunch of little activity things on it, and one of them is sticking shapes in these little slot thingy's. well, it apparently drive taislee NUTS if the shapes are in the slots, because every time, without fail, that she sees them, she has to go over and take them out. it is soo funny!

• she now has five teeth! the two on bottom that she's had for 5 months now, and 3 on top. the two in the middle, and then the one right next to the center left one. I can tell the one next to the center right one is going to be popping through any day now, though!

• she has learned how to 'run' from me. one day i noticed she had put something in her mouth, and I started walking over to her to take it out, and she turned and crawled away from me so fast! she does it all the time now, and thinks it's so funny.

• she is OBSESSED with bubba's bike he got for Christmas. she is always going over to it, and standing up next to it. she even CLIMBED onto it, all by herself, and sat on the seat! 

• she loves pushing her little baby stroller all over :)

• daddy taught her to feed him. he'll go over to her when she's in her chair eating, and open his mouth, and she will pick up whatever she has, and stick it in his mouth. he also taught her how to eat out of HIS mouth, haha. he'll put a goldfish, or something in between his lips, then she will take it with her mouth. it's super cute ♥

• sleeping. it's still a struggle for her sometimes. she takes 3 naps a day, and she does pretty good with them, sometimes she'll fuss a bit when I put her down, but for the most part she does pretty good. she'll usually do good at night when I put her down, too. but if she doesn't get ALL 3 naps, she wakes up 2-3 hours after going to bed, and it's HELL trying to get her to go back to sleep. we seriously try everything, and nothing works. on the nights that she DOESN'T do that, she does AWESOME. she'll wake up 2, sometimes 3, times to eat, then one she is done, I put her back in her bed, and she is out without a peep. she also can NOT fall asleep if I am holding her. she just can't, I dunno why. she will fall asleep if Ryan's mom is rocking her, or even if Ryan does, but she will not sleep in my arms, it's kinda strange.

• she stopped doing her 'scrunchy face' for a while, which made me super sad, because it is TOO STINKIN' CUTE! but she just started doing it again the other day, and I love it! :)

• her hair is starting to get a bit longer, and thicker. I can put it like I'm gonna put it in a little pony tail on the top, but I feel like I'm gonna pull it too hard when I put a band in there to hold it, so we're holding off on that for a bit longer :)  plus, I feel like that will make her look soooo much bigger, so I'm good with sticking to headbands & bows for now ;)

• she's a little dancer! she shakes her little booty all the time, and loves when we dance with her :)  can I just say a dancing baby is probably the most precious thing in the world?! cause it totally is.

• when she is done eating and she still has food left on her tray, she will either move her arms across her tray over & over again really fast so that the remaining food falls off, or she will pick it up, and drop it on the floor. she does that with her sippy, too. if she's done drinking, she'll just toss it on the floor.

• she seems to be warming up to other people more. she doesn't freak out so much if someone else holds her, even if she can still see me. she's not 100% over her fear of other people yet, but we're makin' progress here!

• she becoming more & more of a daddy's girl as the days pass. she just loves her daddy. she'll hear him talking after he walks through the door when he gets home from work, and if we're in the bedroom, she will crawl out saying 'da? dada?' and look for him. or if she's in the living room, or her high chair, she gets the biggest smile on her face when she sees him. love it ♥ 

EIGHT!!!

My little tootsie babe is 8 months old today! It is officially time for me to start planning her birthday party, because I have learned that time goes super quick and these next 4 months are gonna pass so quickly, and before I know it, May 6th will be sneaking up on us! And I'm not even ready for my baby to be a big girl yet! :(

Here's what our chicky has been up to the past month!

• i'm sure i have mentioned it before (because she's been doing it for quite a while) but lately she has been doing it 100X more.... screaming!!! she has always been SUCH a loud baby, even her little squeaks when she was first born. but since she was a few months old, she has been screaming. not screaming when she cries, just randomly to be vocal :)  we all thought it was sooo cute at first, but now it literally brings on headaches! haha. she used to just do it once or twice, then she was done. but now it's over & over & over again, and it is LOUD. and so HIGH pitched, it is insane how that sound can come out of something so small. she thinks it is soo funny, and laughs at herself half the time she does it, haha. i think she just likes the sound of her voice, which is super cute, but really, my ears are about to start bleeding! hahah  

• she is becoming more & more of a daddy's girl lately (but she will ALWAYS be a bigger mama's girl, she's pretty much obsessed with mommy! haha) the other night he came home late from work, and he was going to get some dinner in the kitchen, but first he stopped to say hi to her while I was holding her. she reached right out to him, and got sooo excited! and she just loved on him forever - wrapped her arms around him, laid her head on his shoulder, and just cuddled him. i tried to see if she would come to me so that he could go eat, and she did one time, but then turned right around & reached back to daddy, then would NOT come to me again (which is VERY rare for this child to do!) she kept hugging him, then letting go, then kicking her legs & laughing, bouncing up & down! haha, it was super cute, she just loves her daddy! :)

• i put her big girl car seat in the car a couple of days ago, and she loves it! it sits her up more, so she can see brother a bit better. i'm not sure if i'll keep her in there for good or not (i only switched it because we were going on a long drive to kanab & i thought she might do better if she could sit up more to see, and be able to play with her toys better. she still fits perfectly in her infant seat, & has tons of room to grow into it, since I still haven't taken the padding out yet. 

• daddy taught her her new favorite thing to do... scrunch up her nose and sniff in & out really fast over & over! it is the absolute cutest thing i have ever seen! she makes the cutest face, and bounces up and down while she does it! ahh, i just love it.

• she is a nightmare to get to sleep lately. she fights sleep extremely bad now. not all the time during the day for naps & when i put her down at night (although she WILL cry a little bit before falling asleep) it's more when she wakes up in the middle of the night. she'll wake up, i'll feed her, and then i'll try to put her back to bed, and she will either think it is play time, or she cries/yells/screams until she gets picked up. i can't really just let her 'cry it out' in the middle of the night either, because of where we live, we don't want to have her wake ryan's parents up from her throwing a fit, so it makes it really hard sometimes.

• she has these random 'lovey' moods, where alll she wants to do is love on you. and it's not like she is tired/sad when she does it, she is sooo happy when she does it! i loooove when she is in those moods, because i get attacked with lottts of tight hugs, and 'kisses' on my face. 

• ryan has also taught her how to kiss. well, kind of. she will just open her mouth and put it on your cheek, or lips. she won't always do it when you tell her to, just randomly, really, or when she is in her lovey moods ^

• she is little PIGGY. she looooves to eat! she has never really liked purees, so we don't do those anymore, we just give her regular food, and she is seriously a little CHAMPION eater! she has never choked on anything (she has gagged on some things - as i have mentioned before - because the food touches the back of her tongue and gags her) and she chews stuff up really well with only two teeth! she is also getting really good at getting more food in her mouth than she drops. i always check her chair after she is done eating to see how much she has dropped, and it seems like every time it's less & less! some new things that she has tried lately are: cauliflower, ham, chicken, pretzels, broccoli (which she wasn't a huge fan of, i think it was the feel/texture of it) veggie straws, cheerios, crackers, avocado, grapes, apples, blueberries, pineapple, pasta & I can't remember what else, but i try not to do too many things at once, just in case she has any kind of reaction to something. she has loved everything so far! I hope she is always a good eater, cause it is pretty stressful with bransyn being such a picky eater! 

• she loooves baby dolls! when i hold them up to her, she will grab them & hug them. she got three for Christmas! 

• she has officially said her first word, which is (of course) MAMA! :)  at first i didn't know if she was just saying it as baby talk, but a few days after she started blabbering it, she looked right at me & said 'mamama!' then kept repeating after me, so it officially counted as her first word! :)  she said it CONSTANTLY for the first couple days/week, but now she doesn't say it much, haha. 

• she climbs on EVERYTHING. she is just like her brother with no fear! she loves to climb up on bransyn's little chair, and STAND on it. i swear these children are gonna do me in one day!

• it is a HUGE challenge to change her diapers. not sure if i've posted about this in her other updates, but it literally takes me a few minutes to change a pee diaper, because she rolls over RIGHT as i lay her down, and i have to keep laying her on her back, then she gets mad! haha

• she just discovered splashing in the tub today, and i'm sure it will be one of her new favorite things!

• she is obsessed with paper. like, COMPLETELY obsessed. if she sees any kind of paper anywhere, she goes straight to it & it goes straight in her mouth. one day we were sitting in my car because brans fell asleep, and i brought tais up to the front with me so that she wouldn't get bored in her seat, and she looked alll around until she found a piece of paper, and cried when i took it away. on Christmas, that was the only thing she was interested in, was the wrapping paper! she will even push over the garbage in the computer room if she sees paper sticking out of it, so that she can get it!

• she's starting to play with toys a lot more now! still with bransyn's all the time, along with all of her new ones that she got for Christmas. that's fine by me, as long as she's happy & having fun she can play with  whatever she wants!

• i have been styling the top of her hair lately, along with putting a headband on her (of course!) and it is just the cutest! i will just spray & 'scrunch' the longer hairs, so it looks like it is curly. i love her new do! :)

• i've said it before, but i'll say it again because it makes me so happy... she loves her big brother SO DANG MUCH! she loves to attack him with hugs/loves, they love laughing at each other (especially in the car - that's better than listening to the radio!) and she loves to just climb all over him. there really is nothing better than having your children love each other so much, every time i see them interact together, i can't seem to get rid of the smile on my face.

• she is quite the explorer. she just crawls around everywhere finding new things to stick in  her mouth, and crawl on top of. 

• she has gotten SO fast at crawling. one minute she is right next to me and ten seconds later she is clear down the hall! i'm pretty sure she could crawl as fast as i walk.

• she will pull herself up to stand, as long as she has something to hold onto, (and she does it alll the time) but she is definitely not ready to stand alone, yet. she CAN, because i have stood  her up and let go (without her realizing it) and she stood for a good 10-15 seconds before realizing she had nothing holding her up, so she sat down. but i think she is scared to stand by herself. maybe since she isn't ready to stand on her own quite yet, she won't walk as soon as brother did & I am JUST FINE with that! having an 8.5 month walker made me quite proud, but it definitely wore me out a bit more, haha!

• she sits in shopping carts when we go to the store & high chairs when we go to restaurants. she no longer wants to be cooped up in her infant seat when we're out. she just loves being able to see everyone & take everything in. we got her a shopping cart/high chair cover for Christmas, which is soo nice & convenient, because before I was using 2-3 blankets to cover the cart seat with, and wiping it down with the cart wipes like a crazy person! haha (although i still have to wipe it down if brans wants to get in the basket part)

• she loves crawling on our bed & going over to the window. she likes to look outside and also mess with the blinds, haha.

• whenever she is on the floor in our room, she goes straight over to the shelf that has all of her stuff on it (blankets, bibs, wash cloths, towels, diapers, wipes) and she will pull everything off of the bottom shelf, then stand up & attempt to pull stuff off the other two shelves. makes for a lot of clean up, but it's so funny watching her do it.

• her little personality shines through more & more every day. and i must say, she has one of the cutest personalities in the world. (one of the other being brother's, duh ;) she is such a silly, loving little girl, i just can't help but smile when i look at her. as much as i hate that she's growing sooo dang quickly, i can't wait to see what she's gonna be like when she gets to be one, or 18 months, or two. it's one of the only things that gets me through the fact that she's getting older every day, i just love all the fun little stages they go through, and how their little personalities change & become cuter & funner! 

• she has been LOVING other babies & little kids! one of my friends has a little boy that was born the exact same day as tais, and she was in town for Christmas, so they came over on Christmas Eve & t babe was in heaven with someone her size! we went to lunch with one of my other friends the other day, and she has a 15 month old, and we put them together as we were getting ready to leave the restaurant & tais gave brielle a big hug and was just soo fascinated by her! i've been noticing her being more into other little kids lately, too. 

• she has learned how to throw things off of her high chair tray. if she's done eating something, she will put her hands on the tray, and just move them back & forth really fast, dumping everything on the floor, clearing the tray. haha. and if she doesn't want her sippy, she will throw it on the floor. if i try to give her a drink out of it & she doesn't want it, she will push it away. same with anything I try to give her that she doesn't want (ex. a toy) she will just fling her arms around & push it away. 

• she is still a booby baby. she hasn't had a single drop of formula, and i am sooo proud that we were able to make it this far without having to supplement one bit! we are determined to make it to at least a year. even if i wanted to stop, this girl would for sure not have it. she loooves nursing, and pretty much has a fit when she can't (she likes to nurse for comfort, and i'm trying to break her from that habit. so if she tries to nurse within an hour or two after she last did, i won't let her because i know it's just out of habit - i would never not let her eat if she was hungry, and i have learned the difference now, haha!)

• she loooves to take showers with mommy! i don't know why i didn't try it sooner, i used to take baths/showers with brans from the time he was a couple weeks old. anyways, she absolutely loved it the first time! she just laid on my shoulder the WHOLE time, and was extremely relaxed and lovey. it was amazing, and SUCH good bonding! the second time, she even fell asleep! i love me some mama/tais showers! :)

Seven Months!?

Really?

REALLY?!

Ugh, I want to cry.

The only thing keeping me from completely breaking down about my little baby growing up so dang quick, is the fact that her learning new things every day, and getting cuter every single day (yeah, I didn't think that was even possible, either!) puts a smile on my face. But really, why do babies have to grow SO gosh darn fast?! :(

Alright, here we go... this is what little miss busy body has been up to this past month!

• she is into EVERYTHING. if she see's something on the floor, she goes to it. and yep, it goes straight to her mouth.

• she pulls her self up on everything! it makes me soo nervous, because there are wood floors in this house, so it scares me that she is going to fall and hit her head. and yes, she has taken a few tumbles before, nothing too bad & she hasn't gotten hurt, but still... I wish we lived somewhere with carpet through out the house right about now!

• she loooves to climb on things. there is a little side table next to the couch, and it has a ledge thingy, I don't know what to call it, under the actual table part & there is a book on it. she is obsessed with crawling on that part & just sitting there & playing with the book! haha. she really climbs on anything she can. the past few days there has been a shoe box on the ground, next to the couch, and she climbs right on top of that, then pulls herself up to the couch!

• she has no fear! ^ those are examples!

• if the pantry door is open, she crawls straight to it! we have to remember to alwaysss keep it closed, because the first thing she goes to in there, is the cleaners on the floor under the shelves.

• she love, love, lovesss to sit in the shopping carts! she just kicks her little legs the whole time, and takes in everything going on around her!

• she has been a HORRIBLE sleeper lately! when it's time for her naps, I'll go lay her down & she'll just cry! I used to be able to lay her down in her bed, she'd fuss for a few seconds, then go right to sleep. now it's full on screaming until I pick her up. she still does okay sometimes, but man, is it getting exhausting having to walk around with her held tight in my arms, because she HAS to be moving. she also wakes up 2-4 times a night. and, she is SUCH a light sleeper now. I have NO idea why, but she will literally wake up when I climb into bed, because she hears the blankets moving. i hope she gets over it soon, and starts sleeping better again!

• we have this 'bouncy' tigger toy, where you push his tail & he will bounce. well tais will now bite the tail to make him start bouncing, because she realizes that's what makes it go! so smart! :) she is definitely learning cause & effect!

• she never wants to sit down! if I am holding her, and I go to put her on the floor, she won't bend her legs to sit like she used to, she will just keep them straight like she wants to just stand up!

• she has started blowing raspberries :) seriously the cutest thing ever!

• she also does this thing where she will open & close her mouth repeatedly, then thinks it's hilarious if you do it back to her.

• she is obsessed with lotion bottles.

• I figured out that she is just not into pureed foods. ryan & I made her some veggies, and tried giving them to her... she was not a fan! but when we gave her whole foods (soft, small stuff that she wouldn't choke on) she LOVED it! she is definitely a fan of whole foods & feeding herself! she is getting really good at it, too! at first, she would get the food either stuck to the top of her mouth, or it would go on the back of her tongue & gag her (GAG, not choke.) but now that hardly ever happens!

• whole foods she has had so far:

- green beans

- bananas

-apples (in her mesh feeder - those are a bit too hard for her 2 little teeth to handle right now)

- toast, cut in little strips

- grapes, without the skin and cut into small pieces

- Gerber Puffs and Little Crunchies

we're slowly adding new things in, but she has loved everything so far! :)

• she is a PRO with her sippy cup! but still refuses to take a bottle! haha

• I'm gonna have to take the extra padding out of her car seat pretty soon, cause she's almost to the point of not needing it :( I am having a very hard time with this, because I think once you take that extra padding out of a car seat, babies suddenly look SO much older!

• she is starting to not like getting into her car seat. usually as soon as I stick her in there, she pulls herself up, and doesn't want to let me strap her in. as soon as she's in she's okay, though. hopefully it will stay that way for a few more months at least! haha, it's so much easier to have her in her infant seat.

• she also sits herself up in the tub when she's laying in her bath seat. i'm gonna have to pull the seat out that is actually meant for babies to sit up in. ugh, just thinking about this makes me sad! haha

• her favorite thing to get into is a stack of papers under the computer desk. every time we are in the toy room, she will go under the computer desk & go straight for the stack of papers. happens every time, without fail! haha.
