Happy Birthday to. . .

The love of my life!!!

26 years old today (:

We didn't do anything too crazy to celebrate, which sucks, but money's a bit tight right now, so we kept it low key (:
He wanted to go to Red Lobster for his birthday dinner, which we did LAST weekend... can you say impatient? haha.
Today, he worked on his dads truck most of the day. Then we went out to dinner with his parents & his cousin, at Samurai 21. {YUMMMMMY!} He wanted to go bowling afterward, but decided to save it for another day. So Amanda, Ryan's cousin Camren & his girlfriend Alex came over to hang out for a bit. Tomorrow he's gonna go golfing with his dad {his fav!}
We didn't do a whole lot, but I hope he had a good 26th birthday, anyway! (:

Love you, Ry! ♥

Bits of Bransyn

this little man has constantly got us laughing! he is at such a fun age, I love it!

• he is talking more daily. sometimes I don't even know where he learned some of the words he says, or how he knows how to use them correctly! I am always so amazed.

• he loves walking around with his hands in his pockets. Ry always has his hands in his pockets, so of course, B has to do it, too.

• he WAS very well with discipline. if he would start to disobey me, or hit/kick me, I would give him until the count of 3 to stop, & if he didn't, I would go sit him on his bed & tell him he is not allowed out until he can be nice. usually it only took about 30 seconds - a minute until he is out. I ask him if he is ready to be nice & listen to mommy & he would tell me yes, then he would come over & give me a hug & we would talk about what he was doing wrong & that kind of behavior is not allowed. he was actually being SO much nicer after I started doing that! but lately, he has had one CRAZY attitude! he doesn't want to listen to ANYTHING I tell him. sometimes if I put him in time out it will work, but half the time it doesn't. I knew him being that nice/amazingly well behaved was too good to be true!

• he has been having a HUGE issue with whining. he whines over everything & it drives me absolutely insane, haha. even if he's just asking for a drink, he mixes a bunch of whining in with it. I never knew how much I despised whining until he started this a few weeks ago. I would rather nail my hand to the wall, than listen to whining. buttt, I deal with it, because I know that's what 2 year old's do.

• he will randomly say that his tummy hurts {not sure if it ever really does, cause it doesn't last long} then when I ask him what's wrong with it, he will say '{baby's name} hurt me!' haha, he obviously realizes that when I say {baby's name} hurt mommy, she hurt my tummy! It's soo cute. Also, whenever I randomly say 'Ouch!' he will ask me '{baby's name} hurt mommy?!' even if it has nothing to do with her (: haha

• the other day, Ryan gave him a bath & didn't get him dressed afterward. I wasn't aware of it for awhile, because B went to play in his room. when I finally realized Ryan hadn't gotten him dressed yet, I walked into his room to get him into his pj's. he was sitting on the floor with 2 of his little monster trucks sitting in front of him & he verrry proudly tells me 'I washed my trucks, mommy!' *facepalm*

• he has been coming into our bed in the middle of the night a lot, lately. not really sure why, or what could even be waking him up. part of me thinks that he's maybe having bad dreams, but he's usually pretty calm when he comes in. well, except for the few times he came in saying 'I want mommy, I want mommy!'

• he LOVES being outside & I LOVE that it has been nice enough for him to go out a bit during the day. I also love that I can sit at the computer desk & blog {like I am doing now} & still be able to keep an eye on him outside! (:

• he loves to 'fight' with daddy. he always goes up to Ry & says 'lets fight!' and will attack him. SUCH a boy. & Ry is definitely a boy dad! it is so much fun to watch & luckily, B doesn't try to fight with other people {unless they tell him to} the way he does with daddy.

•he does puzzles now (:

• he can ride/steer his four-wheeler like a pro, now!

38 weeks!

8 days left with this big 'ol belly! (:

Yes, that's right only EIGHT days! I had my 38 week appointment yesterday & we have FINALLY set the date for me to be induced... if the little miss does not come on her own by next Friday, May 6th... she will be getting evicted! (: Ahh, soo crazy to finally know that I will FOR SURE have a baby in my arms by a certain day. I am still almost 3cm dilated, but 80% effaced now. I had to have an NST {Non-Stress Test} because I have not been feeling Miss T move a whole lot lately, really only when I poke at her because I get scared. I sat there with the monitors on for a good 5 minutes with zero movement what-so-ever. Which is definitely not normal for this little babe when she has the monitors on her. Usually she is ALL over the place - last time we didn't even have to do the full time, because she was moving so much. Not this time. Her heart rate was also staying verrrry consistent {they like it go to up & down, not stay the same} So the nurse went & got me some water & a capri sun to see if that would help to get her goin. I drank the water & her heart rate did start to fluctuate a bit, but she still did not want to move at all. So I drank the capri sun & still the same thing. I had a contraction {wasn't painful, just the kind that takes my breath away!} & her heart rate dropped a tiny bit, but it picked right back up & she was fine, so they weren't worried about that. Finally, after about 20-25 minutes of being on the monitors, she started to move some more. After the NST was done, they wanted to do an ultra sound to check the fluid, just to make sure everything was okay with that. Everything looked good with the level at 9.7cm! That is even higher than it was my last ultra sound, a couple weeks ago! So apparently this stubborn child just wanted to be lazy for a few days & give her mama a nice scare ;) All is good, though & she can bake for just a little bit longer! (:

Easter Day!

{easter 2011}

All of B's goodies! That bunny sure did spoil him ;)

Morning cuddles with daddy!

He was soo excited about everything! (:
& yes. He is wearing Christmas PJ's. Silly daddy dressed him in the wrong holiday jammies! haha.

Manda & Cam came over for B & C to do the egg hunt together! They both had a blast & were SO good at it this year! {or I just didn't 'hide' the eggs good enough ;) } They both just wanted to open each one as they went, haha. They loooove candy!

We played outside with his new bubbles & chalk!

B's grandpa stopped by for a quick visit & dropped off some Easter goodies for him, mommy & daddy, and even baby sister!

Then we went up to grandpa & grandma Tabet's for Easter dinner {roast, carrots & potatoes! deLISH!} & other fun Easter activities! Brans got 2 baskets full of fun stuff & treats from them! They gave us some YUMMY chocolate covered strawberries... mmm, my FAV!

Yet another Easter Egg hunt! (: All of us got to participate in this one! SO fun! haha, made me feel like a little kid again ;)

We had a great Easter! I'm sad we didn't get to go out to Kanab to celebrate Easter with my family, but we missed it with Ryan's family last year, so we made plans with them this year! Brans definitely had a blast, though! He was so worn out from all the excitement, he passed out on the way home! (: I hope everyone else had a wonderful Easter, as well!

Saturday Easter Festivities (:

Easter Egg 'hunt' at the park!

He made out pretty dang good, considering how tired & not so into it he was ;)

This boy LOVES watermelon! I seriously think he would of eaten the entire 9lbs of it, if we would of let him! hahah

He got his first tattoo's! (: He got a bunch of them from the eggs from the park. He was pretty excited about this.

Went up to grandma & grandpa Tabet's house to color eggs! Manda & Cam even came up to join in on the fun (: Both of the boys were a lot more into it this year... Cam reallly liked throwing the eggs in each cup. Brans just wanted to put allll of the eggs in a cup at once, no special designs on them, or anything, just plain colors! Until he figured out he could put stickers on them... then he had to put EVERY.SINGLE.STICKER on his eggs. Silly, silly boy (:

Gettin' stuff ready!!! (:

We are finally getting around to getting everything (Okay, definitely not everything... just what we can!) ready for the baby! (:

Here's the crib that Ry just painted/restored!

BEFORE:

Yes, those are BITE marks from Brans, haha.

AFTER:
All set up in her room! It turned out really good. Now we just need to get some bedding for it!

Her bag is all packed for the hospital! (: It took me longer to pick out bows to match everything (and each outfit/pajama/onesie has about 3 that can go with it, haha. Hey, I like to have options ;) than to pick out her clothes, blankets & everything else that is in there! haha

All of her stuff next to her bedroom door, ready to grab when we head to the hospital! (although now the car seat is strapped into the car, so we don't have to worry about that!)

Her swing!

Beddy in our bedroom! It's the same one we used for Brans, except I put a pink sheet in it to make it a little more girly ;) I even stocked it up with diapers already! (:

And I just love this dress that I got her, so I had to post it ;) haha, sorry it's kind of blurry!

Everything stacked up in the closet! Can't wait until we get her bookcase shelf & dresser/changing table so I can actually organize everything

Okay, so I still have lots more to do, but this is the progress so far ;) I will hopefully be able to order the dresser/changing table combo sometime within the next week. I will probably have to put off the bedding for a bit longer, but she will only be sleeping in there for naps for quite a while, anyways & probably not for the first month or so. All of the other stuff will be done randomly, I'm sure. The book case, curtains, her name above her crib, pictures on the walls, ect. I really wanted to have everything done before she's born, but we got a bit of a late start on it & there were more important things to get before we worried about her room. (the stroller, car seat, clothes ect.) But it's nice to finally have everything we need when she comes home set up! Now I just need a baby to put it all to use ;)

Mr. Smarty Pants!

My smart little B-boy is now doing puzzles on his own! (: (:
He does the 'shape' ones, AND the 'real' puzzles! I knew that he could do the shape ones pretty well, but I was completely SHOCKED when we were playing & he wanted to do the real puzzles & he actually put them together alll by himself! I am soo proud of this little man. He is just too smart for his own good ;)

FULL TERM! (:

Gigantic 37 week belly! (:

Ahh, it feels so good to of finally made it to this 'safe point'! I know that she still has some good bakin' to do, but I would actually feel okay if she were to come out now. Not that I necessarily WANT her to, but I know that she would be just fine if she was to come anytime now! (: (unlike 10 weeks ago when we first learned about the low fluid!)

I definitely feel like I am FINALLY ready for this little lady. I mean, I still have fears & my nerves are going crazy. It's gonna be really weird having 2 children to take care of. I think that is what I'm most nervous/scared about. I never ever want Bransyn to feel left out, or like he is being replaced, so it's gonna be hard balancing my time between the two of them. I'm prettty sure I've already forgotten how to take care of a newborn, as well. haha, I'm so used to my big boy! It'll definitely be a challenge getting used to caring for a toddler & a newborn, but hopefully I will get the hang of it quick! But I honestly can not wait to finally have them together! (: I am seriously so anxious to see Bransyn's face when he see's his baby sister for the very first time. Ahhh, just thinking about it gives me butterflies! (the excited/love kind, not the nervous kind :) And although I am really looking forward to giving birth again (is that weird? I thought it was the most amazing experience ever! haha) I am still so nervous. I don't know how it's gonna go, or what to even expect, since every birth is different. But I keep picturing that amazing moment when my precious baby is handed to me & I get to look at her for the very first time.
Those are pretty much the two things I am still scared/nervous about. (:

But those are normal & I'm sure everything will be just fine, so I am reallly hoping these next 2 weeks just FLY by! I am so ready to be able to sleep comfortably, with no pain. Although, I still won't be sleeping through the night, haha. But waking up to feed, burp & change a cute little baby is DEFINITELY better than waking up to pain! (: I will gladly take that trade ;)
