Bransyn is TEN months!

It's hard to believe that in just 2 short months, we will be celebrating Bransyn's first birthday! Ahh, it's still SO crazy to me how fast the first year goes. Ahh, Welll here's whats up with my little ten month old!!! He is now a PRO walker. Seriously, you would think he's been doing it his entire life. I think that I fall & run into things more then he does! He never even crawls anymore. And he is pretty much running, too! haha. He is a little motor mouth! Unfortunately, no new words yet :( He's just talkin in his own little language. That's okay though, it's cute (: He does shake his head 'no' CONSTANTLY though! haha, it's soo funny. But, not so funny when I'm trying to feed him & he starts shakin it! He also points. Grandma started showing him how to point to things in books, now he points to everything! Which is kinda nice, cause he can show us what he wants or where he wants to go. OH, and speaking of Grandma. . . she is most definitely his f a v o r i t e person! Whenever she walks in the door (or if we do, depending on if we're the ones coming home or not) he starts walkin right over to her & pulling the bottom of her skirt, wanting her to pick him up. And he love love LOVES to help her with everything -- vacuuming, cooking, cleaning, ANYTHING! To tell you the truth, I'm a little jealous my baby likes someone more then me ;) He loves to play outside, but isn't a big fan of wearing shoes, so he doesn't get to play on the ground much. hahah. I'm so glad it's starting to cool down now, so that we can start playing outside more! (well, for about 2 months before it starts getting too cold!) Hmm, he still loves bathtime. He even gets to sit in there alll by himself now! (meaning no bath seat, haha) His favorite part now, is the water coming out of the faucet! He loves to stick his hands & head under it. hahah. Then when I turn it off when the tub gets too full, he just sits and stares at it & waits for the water to start coming out again. haha, he's so silly. Uhm, he is pretty much obsessed with his 'Gerber lil' crunchies' They are most definitely his fav!!! He's eating more table foods & doing SO well with them! He knows that he has to chew before he can swallow. &He has yet to choke on anything. (And hoping to keeep it that way!!!) WHAT ELSE. . . He is always SOO happy lately! He loves to laugh at everything! & it is so easy to make him laugh. All I have to do is laugh, & he copy's (: Ahh, my favorite sound!!! Oh, and he's a little MONKEY!!! He climbs on everything! The other day he wanted something on the coffee table (at the house I babysit at) & I kept pushing it to where he couldn't get it by standing next to the table, so he climbed on it!!! We also have to 'block' him into the kitchen by turning all the table chair on their sides & lining them from one wall to the other (ha, sounds weird but, he likes to play in the dog water! ha) And now he has figured out how to climb on them to get over. He is so dang smart, I can't even believe it!!! Welll, I don't have much time so I think I got the best parts of what lil man's been up to this past month!!! (: He's growin & changing SO fast, I can hardly believe it. But I absolutely love that I get to watch as that happens ;)

I have been having a very hard time trying to choose what to dress Bransyn as for Halloween. Last year, I found this REALLLY cute Lion costume, that I was in love with, and I swore that's what he was gonna be this year. . . but now I can't find it anywhere :( But maybe if I get the most votes for that, I'll continue searching ;) I think babies dressed as animals for Halloween are SO cute, so that's why all the choices are animals! haha. But I am open to any other cute suggestions!!! (: And if anyone knows any good costume websites, please send me a link to the site.

Park!

Last night, we went to the coolest park I have ever been to! It's over by Green Valley, & I think it's fairly new? But anyways. . . they have the best playground! (although, not many things for a baby :/ ) There's a ton of things that spin & things I've never seen before!

Here's the whole view of the playground. You can't see it too well cause it's dark, but the top picture is the little playground - better for the younger kids. On one side of it, there's 3 little springy things that you sit on & it's kinda like a 3-way teeter-totter! (is that how you spell that?! Ha.) But, we didn't get to try that one. There were 2 teenage girls just SITTING on it the entire time we were there! :/ Then on the other side of the playground, there are 2 things that you sit in & spin. (You can see a kid sitting in one of them) I'll explain those more with the pictures further down!

Then the bottom picture is the bigger playground, more suitable for older kids (& adults!) It has the big slide & a bunch of spinning toys & some other things over there. I have pictures of most of them, so I'll explain what everything was once you get to the pictures to see it! (:

This was a little rock tunnel thing you go through to get to the top of the big playground! It goes straight from the walkway at the top of the park, to the top part by the slide! You just walk across a net thing to get to the slide. I thought this was a really cool idea!

This thing looks like a skateboard that you stand on. Then you hold the bar in the middle (like what Ryan is doing in the top picture) And you just go back & forth! It was pretty fun, but kinda hard & scary! haha. I don't know how people get alll the way to the top of that thing!

This thing was kinda weird. I couldn't really figure out what you're supposed to do on it. It spins, but I'm not sure if your supposed to sit on it & have someone spin you, or stand on it & walk (kinda like a hampster wheel! haha). I saw people doing it both ways. I tried to stand on it, and almost fell! haha. So I just sat & spun myself (: And took Bransyn in a little, slow circle.

This one was WAY cool!!! This was another kind of teeter-totter concept! You can't see the whole thing, but there's another one of those rope things right across from Ryan. Someone sits on each one & you jump up & down - so as one person goes up, the other goes down & so on! We didn't get to try it with both of us on it, cause I didn't think it would be very smart to hold Branysn (it goes HIGH) while we were doing it.

Little man walkin around! He was more interested in the wood chips than anything! haha.

This one you can sit or stand on & spin! I had Ryan spin me by myself, & it gets going so fast, I almost fell off! haha.

We couldn't figure out what you're supposed to do on this one. It's just a rope attached to the ground & the top of the bars, and I guess you just stand on that green thingy?!

If you look closely, you can kinda see another thing in the background to the left. (I think you can even click on the picture to make it bigger?) Ryan didn't get any pictures of me doin that, but you stand in the middle of those bars & lean one way & you spin! You can do it by yourself, or 2 people can be in there at once & spin together! That one was way fun. . . probly my 2nd favorite (:

Ha, I don't know what this thing was either. . . so me & Bransyn just layed in it. That might be what you're really supposed to do with it? Cause I saw other people doing that too, but I dunno. It looks like it would like swing or something, but it doesn't. It just sits there! haha.

THESE are the suuuper fun things that you sit in & spin! This was my absolute favorite thing there! All you have to do is sit in it & the way it is positioned, it automatically spins you! & you get going FAST!!
NO, we were not spinning fast while holding Bransyn in there. We each took him around once, really slow. I don't know if he liked it or not. . . he probably didn't know what to think! haha.

haha, I swear we didn't put him in there to spin. I just wanted a picture. Ryan was holding him still, then moved real quick for the picture. He wasn't heavy enough to make it spin anyways. He didn't like sitting in there by himself very much. (:

Mommy, however, had tons of fun on this one! I didn't wanna leave. haha. I look like a tard in the pic, but hey. . . I was spinning super fast(:

For those of you who don't already know her, this is my friend Alaynie. She is 34 weeks pregnant with a little boy, who's name is going to be Tayson! (: She lives up north, but has been down here visiting for the past 2 weeks. While she was here, she wanted to take some maternity pictures, so I did them for her! These are some of the pictures we took! (Sorry so many, I like a TON of them, so it was hard to choose which ones to post. . . this is what I narrowed it down to! hahah) I had so much fun taking & editing these pictures with her! Can't wait to meet little Tayson. He is gonna be adorable -- AND Bransyn's best buddy ;)

Terrible two's?

mm, NO. More like terrible nine months!

I swear my child is getting into the terrible two's stage already! He must think that since he does everything else early - except sleeping through the night, of course - that he has to get to this stage early, as well. And mama is NOT liking it so much.
He has temper tantrums, complete with crying, screaming and laying on the floor & kicking his legs.
Why does he have these tantrums, you ask?
Usually because I take something that he is not supposed to have away from him.
Yes. He doesn't get his way, so he throws a fit.

For example:
A bit earlier, after he was done with his bottle, he wanted to play with it. But there was still a little bit of milk in there, so I didn't want him to drip it all over the floor.
Funny thing is, he hadn't even grabbed for it yet. He was just eying it, and I knew he wanted it, so I hid it. (I know, mean mommy!) Well, he starts screaming & down on the floor he goes.

He does this at least once a day, on a good day.
Most days it's quite a few times.

Hmm, wonder who he got this attitude from. . .

If he's this bad now, I don't even wanna imagine what he's gonna be like at two!

My child is learning how to share!

No, not his toys. . .
He's still not too good at that.

But his food.
Yes, he now tries to share his snacks with us. And he thinks it is hilarious.
He loves when I put his teething biscuit in my mouth for him to pull out & put in his mouth. And then try to put it back in my mouth, for me to have a taste.
He's so good to his mama.
He also like to share his 'lil crunchies' with us.

The best part:
He also shares with the dog.
YUMMY.

We had our pictures done on 8-16. . . ABOUT TIME! We haven't had family pictures since April. . . and that was only a few. So it was nice to finally have them done (: I'm really happy with the way they turned out! They were taken by Cassidy Miller. She did an awesome job!!!
