Black Friday Scores

I did Black Friday at the outlets again this year, and once again, I did not leave disappointed!
I went with my friend Sarah, Ryan's mom & his sister. We got there at about 9:30pm and got in line for the goody bags they were giving away. But, they weren't passing them out until 11. The first hundred of them had a $10 gift certificate to ANY store in the outlets, so that's why we waited in line that long. We got there JUST in time! They were handing out numbers so that no one could butt in line at the last minute & get one of the $10 certificate bags. I was number 94! If we had gotten there literally ONE minute later, we would of been out of luck! Good timing :)

So we waited in line for EVER. It actually went by pretty quick, cause Sarah & I always get lost in conversation & the time just flies by. So after we finally got our bags, we went over to The Children's place. Everything was 40% off there, plus I had a coupon to get an extra 20% off of a purchase of $50 or more. Then I used my $10 certificate there, so I got a lottt for pretty cheap! We also went over to Osh Kosh, and I got a few pairs of pajama's for Bransyn. Everything there was 50% off. I got Taislee a cute shirt, and they had PJ's as their door busters for $9. I also had a 20% off of $40 or more purchase, so I got to use that as well.
I got all of this:

Retail value = $313
What I paid = $103

Yep, I did pretttty dang good! :)

Thanksgiving 2011.

We spend Thanksgiving with Ryan's family this year. His parents, his sister & her husband, his aunts and cousins. It was a full house, for sure! It was pretty strange not even seeing my family on Thanksgiving, since I have spent it with them EVERY single year, but it was still a fabulous day & we had an absolutely delish dinner!    We had the usual; turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, rolls, salad, sweet potatoes, ect. Ah, sooo yummy! I'm pretty sure I've said it before, but I'll say it again... I wish Thanksgiving came once a MONTH, instead of once a year! Not only for the food, but for the meaning, too. We always need to remember all the things we are thankful for. I, for one, have sooo much to be thankful for:
My children. I would be nowhere without them. They are my life. My reason for living. The absolute best things that have ever happened to me.
Ryan. We have been through a whoooole ton in the past 4.5 years, but I can't think of a better person to spend my life with. I love him with everything in me, and I will also add him to that list of the best things that have ever happened to me.
My family. I would be lost with out them all.
Ryan's family. I am soo very grateful for them, and everything they have done for us.
Ryan's job. It may be taking a while to make us millionaires ;)  but I am so very happy for him, and that he is able to live out his dream of owning a shop, and that he actually has a job in this economy.
A home to live in. This is also thanks to Ryan's parents. As much as I want to be able to have our family under our own roof, I'm very thankful for Ryan's parents for opening their home up to us, at a time that we aren't able to have our own place.
Food in our tummies. Yep, that's pretty dang important.
Clothes to wear. Shoes on our feet.
Reliable vehicles to drive.
Being able to pay all of our bills on our own.
The fact that we are all healthy, in every way.
The fact that we get to be together as a family every single day, and we don't have to worry about ever being apart.
The bad/hard days, so that I know how to appreciate the good/easy days.
And most importantly.... God. For BLESSING me with every single thing I listed. I would have nothing without Him.

I do have a lot more that I am thankful for. It really would be easier to just say I am thankful for EVERY single part of my life, but I feel the need to list the ones I am most thankful for.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and you all remembered what you are thankful for ♥

Taislee's very first Thanksgiving!!! :)  She got to eat some green beans!

Definitely what I am most thankful for. Definitely.

My THREE Year Old. . .

I seriously can't believe it has already been three years since I laid eyes on my sweet little boy for the very first time! It sure has been a crazy, but dang fun three years! He has grown SO dang much, and it is just amazing to watch him constantly learn new things, and change. I am so proud of this little man, he is so dang smart & is just the funniest little dude I have ever met. I am so very lucky to be his mama forever, I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world! :)

Here's what our THREE year old has been up to!

• he is obsessed with his daddy. he copies everything he does, and always wants to be with him. it's the cutest thing in the world!

• he is still very much into monster trucks, big trucks, cars, tractors, pretty much ANY vehicle. he has a billion, but every time he gets a new one, or sees a new one in the store, he gets soo excited! he just loves them.

• he loves to watch the old Disney classic movies lately. he loves the fox & the hound, lion king, 101 dalmatians, bambi, ect. he asks to watch them all the time! he still loves his other favorite movies, too... Cars, all the Toy Storys, Monsters Inc.

• he would stay up all night if we let him! he is definitely a night owl like his mama! he would also rather sleep in our bed than anywhere else!

• i'm pretty sure his grandpa is his most favorite person ever! he loves to do everything with him, and copies a lot of the things he does! i love that he has such a great relationship with him.

• he loooves to run across the wood floor, then slide on his knees.

• he is the BEST big brother out there! he loves his baby sister so much, it is just precious. he loves to make her laugh, and play with her. he has his moments where he isn't the best at sharing his toys, but for the most part he does really well!

• he has an AMAZING memory! he remembers people that he hasn't seen for months, he can remember events or just random things he sees, and will just start talking about them out of the blue! the other day, he asked Ryan to take the tires off of one of his little monster trucks (which I was not very happy about, because I HATE having toys taken apart, haha!) a few minutes later, he tells Ryan, 'they're just like at daddy's work!' we looked over at him, and he had 3 of the tires stacked on top of each other, and the 4th one was like stood up in the middle of the top one. at Ryan's work they have a tire display EXACTLY like that right outside, and we see it every time we stop by. I was shocked that he had remembered that, and had actually put together in his head what he needed to do to get the tires just like that. I wasn't mad about the tires being taken off after that :) It was so adorable!

• when he's eating something, he will randomly say 'I looooooove peaches' or whatever else he is eating! even if he refuses to eat it because he 'thinks' he doesn't like it (without even trying it, haha) he will still say it! haha, it's so funny!

• he has been better with eating the past month, or so. I decided to try something new with him, to get him to be better with eating. for lunch, I give him a variety of food, instead of just one or two things. usually, i'll give him some kind of sandwich, quesadilla, pizza bagel, or whatever else we have as the main thing. then I will give him like 3-5 different sides. some of his favorites are craisins, wheat crackers, cheese crackers, veggie straws (which he calls 'fries'), pretzels, chips, some kind of veggie, or fruit, a slice of turkey & cheese. he will usually eat ALL of it. with breakfast, we'll do oatmeal, cream of wheat, cereal, or nutella. he's reallly good with eating breakfast, too! dinner is a challenge sometimes, though. I definitely passed my pickiness down to him (although i'm not very picky anymore - I DEFINITELY was when I was a kid!) it is SO hard to get him to try something at dinner time. i'll put something on his plate, tell him what it is, then he will say 'I don't like ____' it gets really frustrating, especially because usually if I can get him to take a bit, he finds out that he really DOES like it, but just won't try it. I'm not sure why it's always at dinner time that he has issues, but we're working on it.

• he looooves baths! he would spend his whole day in the bathtub if we let him!

• he loves playing outside. especially in the dirt with his dump trucks & tractors!

• before he goes to bed every night, he says his goodnight routine to every one. 'Good night, sleep good, sweet dreams, see you in the morning, I looooooooove you!' cutest.thing.ever.

• he talks more & more every day. he learns new words that i have nooo idea where he got them from, and we understand him better every day. it's so crazy to have conversations with him now, especially when i think of how little he used to be.

B is THREE! :)

Bransyn Kieler Tabet is officially a THREE YEAR OLD!!!
My goodness, I just can NOT believe that I have a three year old! It for real feels like I just barely met this handsome little man for the very first time. It just boggles my mind that it has REALLY been three years old.
His birthday are so, so bittersweet for me (and Taislee's will be too... except I'm not even allowing her to turn a year old :) On one hand it just tears me apart that my once-7-pound-5-ounce-teeny-tiny-baby is now a big 'ol three year old. But on the other hand, it has been the absolute BEST experience of my life watching this little life grow up. He may have one INSANE attitude, talks back, acts like... well, a three year old boy, but he is the silliest, smartest, funnest, most handsome three year old boy I have ever met in my life. I'm pretty dang lucky I get to call myself his mama forever & ever :)  I love you to the moon and back, Mr. BKT, hope you have had an amazing 3 years so far, and can't wait to spend soooo many more with you!

Now, let's move onto this little big boys birthday, shall we?

We started out the day with some PLAY DOH! What better way to start out your 3rd birthday?! Yeah, I don't think there is one, either.

He was makin' some pretty fancy animals with that doh.

After breakfast, play doh, playing with new toys for a while, and getting ready, we ventured off into town for some more birthday festivities.

Brans got a FREE birthday lunch from Wingers...

Pretty sure his favorite part of the entire lunch was the popcorn. Kid loves his popcorn.

He ordered some mini corn dogs, oranges, and fries. Perfect lunch for this boy.

After we finished up with lunch, we headed over to Target so he could pick out a new toy. I don't have any pictures of that, because I didn't take my camera into Target with us, but he ended up picking out a little yellow tractor. We tried to give him other choices. BIGGER choices. But nope, all he wanted was that tractor, so that is exactly what he got, and he was pretty dang excited about it. He wanted it out as SOON as we got into the car.

We then headed over to Baskin Robbins to get the birthday boy some BLUE ICE CREAM! His fav.

He even ended up with a blue tongue!

We were planning on going to a movie as well, but as soon as we pulled up, B-man decided that he didn't want to go to a movie, so we headed home instead!

At home, we still had his birthday party balloons up outside. We went inside, got some sharpies, and the three of us each wrote a birthday wish for Bransyn on a balloon.

{there's his tractor!}

After writing our wishes, we released our wish balloon into the sky!

Birthday Boy thought it was pretty neat to watch them get higher, and higher, until we couldn't see them anymore!

Inside, Brans chose to watch 101 Dalmatians before dinner. With his brand new tractor by his side, of course.

We had dinner, then we put 3 candles in 3 cupcakes, and sang to our 3 year old one more time.

And he got to open his last present from mama & daddy.

More Play Doh! Good thing, because this three year old has taken a special liking to Play Doh!

We got in jammies, and read some books to end his birthday.

The exact minute he was born, three years later :)

We love you sooo much, Brans. You have brought sooo much joy to our lives these past 3 years, I can honestly say life would be BORING without you! Just please do one thing for mama, and slow down just a bit on the growing... it's getting quite hard for me to keep up! Love you little man, Happy, Happy Birthday.

Bransyn's Birthday Party!

Bransyn's THIRD birthday party!
Dr. Seuss theme :)

All the little details :)

Brans had a GREAT birthday party this year! I did a Dr. Seuss theme, and it was SO much fun and turned out so cute! I love how it turned out. I made all of the cup cakes, and treats, & did all of the decorations. Ryan did put his excellent drawing skills to work, and drew The Cat In The Hat, for the kids to play "Pin The Hat On The Cat" A lot of the stuff I made was Pinterest inspired. Gotta love Pinterest ;)

I made his shirt. I bought the shirt from Target, then got the iron on tie from Etsy. So I guess I really just ironed it on there, but hey, that was hard work ;)

This was his guest sign in book. Everyone that came signed it :)  So fun that it fit into the theme, too!

Miss Lady got a Seuss tie shirt, too! Along with a cute matching headband I got off of Etsy! :)

Mommy and daddy with our BIG handsome THREE YEAR OLD!!!

Oh, and Ryan and I had some ties, too ;)  Our cute little Seuss family! :)

B-man had so much fun at his birthday party, and got some pretty nifty presents! Thank you to everyone that came to help celebrate the BIG THREE, and make his day extra special.

After his party, we went to Sakura with Ryan's family for dinner. Bransyn got a cheese cake dessert for his birthday! :)

3 Year Appointment.

Brans had his 3 year well child visit today. He did really good, other than not being very happy about being put in a room with no toys! ;)  haha.

He found other ways to entertain himself, though. He sat on the Dr's chair (while we were waiting) and said "I'm the doctor!" Hmm, Dr. Tabet does have a nice ring to it, maybe he'll grow up to be a doctor ;)  He kept wanting to play with all of the medical instruments on the counter, and was pretty mad when I told him he couldn't. He wanted to lay on the 'bed' in there, so I decided to take some pictures of him up there. I told him to smile. Well, he laid on his side, and struck a pose just like a little model ;)  haha

Dr. Hubbard checked him out & asked questions about what has been going on with him the past little while. I filled him in about the Eosinophilic Esophagitis, the EGD, and allergy testing, and how he has been seeing the specialist, Dr. Kaddu, for the past 10 months. He was also behind on one of his vaccines, so instead of getting no shots like it normally would of been, he had to get one :(  He wasn't very happy about that, but he did pretty good - as usual. Now he won't need any more until he goes to Kindergarten! :)  I'm pretty happy about that :)  haha
Here are his 3 year stats:
Weight: 28lbs - 20th %tile
Height:   -   %tile
Still just a little guy, but at least is is gaining a little bit of weight, and will continue to go up!
