Birthday Celebration #2

{a week late}

Since I was gone for most of my birthday, My dad wanted to have a little birthday party for me this weekend, since my grandma & Jeff were in town. We just played games at Kendra's house, with the 4 of them & 2 of Kendra's room mates. {Amanda & Bryce were too good to come over ;) haha & Ash had already headed back home} They also had some yummy chicken & fruit to eat! We played pictionairy, which I have never played before, & we all had a blast! The drawings that everyone would come up with for their words were pretty funny (:

After food & games, they brought out a yummy cake for me! Once again, my favorite Costco cake ;) haha.
We all had a fun time & I'm glad that my grandma & Jeff were able to stay an extra day to hang out with us (:
& thanks to my dad & Kendra for putting it all together!

B's first horseback ride! (:

On Sunday, Bransyn got to go on his very first horse back ride! He loves horses so much, so I was glad he got to take a ride before Ryan's parent's got rid of their horse.

{don't worry... Ryan was within arms reach of him in case he fell -- Wait, what am I saying?! Bransyn FALL? Not possible ;) }

It was just a quick ride around their arena. I guess the horse is pretty old & weak, so they didn't want to put her in pain by having her walk around carrying extra weight. But he definitely had a blast! He didn't want to get off of her. I sooo wish we could get a horse!

He also loves petting her & feeding her apples! He's never been even a little bit scared to have her eat the apple right out of his hand!

It's kinda sad that Brans won't be able to just go in the backyard & see the horse anymore... but I'm glad he got to ride her, pet her & feed her as much as he did (:

Ghost hunting!

Last night, Ry & I went 'ghost hunting' at the St. George cemetery with my dad, Kendra, Ashlyn, Manda, Bryce & Jeff.
What exactly is 'ghost hunting'? Well, I'm not sure if that is the RIGHT term for what we did, but that's what I'm calling it (: anyways! We went to the cemetery & took a tape recorder & a camera. You walk around with the tape recorder on & just talk or whatever. Than when you listen back to the tape & see if you caught any ghost's talking. The first time Kendra had me listen to the recordings they had previously gotten, I thought they were just messing with me... but I definitely believe it now & it's crazy some of the stuff you can catch on there! And with the camera, you can get pictures of orbs!

Well, I guess I can't technically say that me & Ryan did much hunting with them, because I was completely freaked out after realized that it was a full moon, & saw 2 black cats before we got there... one being on the way into town from Ryan's house, that just sat in the middle of the road when we drove by it, & didn't budge. hahah. I know, I'm super lame! But I was scared, so we sat in the truck for most of the time.... we did participate for a little while, though (: Next time I'll be braver...... as long as I don't see any stupid black cats! hahah

This was crazy! I guess they were all sitting around these pinwheel things (this was one part we were in the truck for...) & Amanda randomly said, 'If there's someone here, make one of these spin' & it slowly started spinning for a few seconds, and then stopped! So they said to do it again, & it happened one more time!

Meanies! haha, I kept telling them to not walk on the graves, to walk around them.... so he lays on it.

Next time, I'm definitely gonna try not be such a chicken, cause some of the stuff they were saying happened, would of been pretty sweet to experience (:

St. George Roadrunners Game

Tonight, Ryan, Brans, Jeff, Amanda, Chans (Bryce's brother) Camden & I all went to the Roadrunners baseball game. I have never been to one, so it was all new to me. And even though I'm not into baseball, or really any sports, it was still pretty fun! Brans & Cam were totally obsessed with the roadrunner mascot from afar... but once we took them near him, they wrapped their arms & legs around us as tight as possible, and wanted nothign to do with him! haha.

Graduation Day!!!

I am 2 years late, but I did it & that's all that matters! (:

I have been anticipating this day for the past month! I was sooo bummed that I missed out on my SC graduation back in '08, & I had always thought I would never get to experience this. I am SO happy that SWHS had a graduation ceremony, & I was able to participate in it (:

Me & Lyssa got to graduate together! (: We were getting nervous before (: haha

There was around 250 people that graduated from SWHS this year, but this is everyone that participated in the graduation ceremony.

{This is probably when one of the speakers was giving their 83468 minute speech & everyone was about to fall asleep! haha}

Ah, my big moment! I was SO scared I was gonna trip & fall in front of everyone! haha. But I couldn't stop smiling! One of the guys I had to shake hands with actually asked me why I was smiling..... Uhhh. Hmm, I wonder (: It was funny though! Definitely one of the top 5 best/biggest moments in my life!

Yayyyy! I did it!!! (:

I owe it all to my mama! She's the one that was on my butt about it & actually paid for me to take the class! (& said that if I didn't finish, I had to pay her back... so that kinda pushed me even more! haha) But I definitely wouldn't of been able to do it with out her!
So thank you momma! I love you! (:

Annnd, my motivation to go sit in the class for hours at a time!



After my ceremony & all the pictures outside, we went over to the park in Ivins & had a little celebration with everyone that came to watch my graduate! My mom got my favorite Costco cake & some ice cream.

& we're missing Carrie in the pictures, cause she took it.

20 on the 20th!

Well, I am finally TWENTY & out of my 'teens'! Kinda bittersweet (:
I had an okay birthday... since it was on Fathers Day this year, I kinda felt like it wasn't as important. But that's okay, cause I liked celebrating Ryan as a daddy better (: After we got home from dinner, we had a mini celebration with my mom, Manda & Cam with some yummy cake!

Nothing too exciting, but I had everything I needed right there with me (:

Fathers Day!

Fathers Day this year wasn't too exciting, since we were driving back from Salt Lake half the day. haha. But, we were all got to spend the entire day (& ride ;) together, so that's what matters! (:

As soon as we got into town, we went to Samurai 21 with Ryan's parents & his sister & her husband, for fathers day dinner! (: That was nice to get together with everyone.
Than we went to my house after our nice lonnng trip, to give the BEST daddy in the world his Fathers Day gift! We both decided that Mothers/Fathers Day gifts should always have something to do with Bransyn & future kids. And getting something like that for a guy is HARD! haha. But since Bransyn was born, Ry has been talking about wanting a tattoo of B's name. So that's we me & Brans got him for Fathers day. Not the ACTUAL tattoo quite yet... but a 'gift certificate' to get one whenever he chooses, since he doesn't know EXACTLY what he wants just yet. But I can't wait til he gets it! (:



Both Brans & I are SO lucky to have Ryan in our lives! He really is the best dad in the world. He will do anything for his son, no matter what! Just the fact that he stuck around when we found out I was pregnant & has been there for both of us since day one makes him amazing! We love him so much & don't know what we would do without him! (:

Chuck E Cheese!

I know this is a TOTALLY random place to go now days, but we were driving around Saturday night & saw a Chuck E Cheese so we decided to take Bransyn there to see what he thought. I haven't been there in YEARS! I was probably like 8 or 9 the last time I went there, haha. It was crazy (:

So we just got a little pizza & than let Bransyn watch the show and play some games.

He HATED those things! haha. They were fine from a far, & he actually enjoyed watching them... but once he got close, he wanted nothing to do with them! hahah Wouldn't even let us get a picture of him standing by them. Oh welll... they were kinda creepy ;)

We all actually had a pretty good time. That was the first time that Bransyn had played arcade games, and he had a blast with them. Although, I'm not sure if we will be going back again.. I think we got our Chuck E Cheese fix for a long time! hahah It is nice going back to places I went as a child... brings back memories (:
