Food Allergy Testing

We had B's food allergy test done today. He had to do that back scratch test again, and he did great with it!
He tested positive to peanuts and eggs (which we already knew) The worst being peanuts. The allergist had to wipe that one off about a minute into the test, because he didn't want him to have a real reaction to it. He said that it showed enough to know that he was for sure allergic to them in that one minute, so it was better to be safe and just wipe the sample off. He also had a slight reaction to all meats, and carrots. Which is super weird, because he has never had a reaction to those before. I thought that since a reaction did show up, that he would no longer be allowed to eat meats, or carrots, but the allergist said that as long as he isn't having any kind of reaction from either of those, he should be just fine to eat them. But I am still going to keep him away from them until we see Dr. Kaddu again, just to make sure. Since he is having reactions on the INSIDE (which is why his esophagus is inflamed) I wanna make sure it would still be okay to give him those. So we'll see when he goes to Dr. Kaddu next! We got a prescription for epi-pens, and we will have to take those everywhere with us from now on, just in case he ever gets a hold of peanuts or eggs and starts having a reaction from them. We have to teach everyone that watches him how to use them. Glad we will have those just in case, because peanut allergies are no joke!
